The Consular Association is a nonprofit institution for professionals and researchers in consular affairs, diplomacy, migration, security, and travel.
Origins
The Association was founded on three key observations:
- Governments allocate substantial budgets, personnel, and time to consular affairs, both within central administrations and across diplomatic networks.
- A growing variety of stakeholders – academic institutions, associations, companies, and nonprofit organizations — are increasingly active in this field.
- No association or research institute globally addressed it.
Missions
- Conducting original research and studies.
- Providing resources for professionals and researchers.
- Building networks among professionals and researchers.
